I read (or at least keep an eye on) a few dozen lit mags. Lots of beautiful work. But sometimes I wonder if we’ve embraced experimentation just for its own sake.

I love a good hybrid. But some pieces I see and think, “Either I’m too dumb or this is just nonsense.”
