A bright film photograph of a butterfly resting on the edge of a tropical leaf, only one half of its wings are visible while the other half is hidden by the leaf. The butterfly is possibly a Tiger Longwing, a wide but small butterfly with coppery orange wings with black and white spotted patterns that make up most of the ends of the wings. The leaf is large, it was probably half my size, and taken from the underside of it, with the light shining through it to show of its beautiful veins and leaf color. The background is a bit overexposed but the rest of the plants leaves take up most of the space, a large one stretching back into the distance.
Again, it was hard to choose what to share this #FilmFriday. This one is from the first roll of film I ever shot. I can’t believe how many good photos came out when I was just starting.
