H’WEEN flick 45- THE BYE BYE MAN: Stellar opening, neat take on the “haunting curse” subgenre, excellent work w/ scary background imagery, good performances. Some great jump scares - falls flat in the 3rd act w villain losing its oomph and some redundancy. Enjoyable flick 6.5/10 #horror #byebyeman

If you say his name or think about him, he will kill everyone you tell. Good premise, but the execution is really bland. Really predictable & not remotely scary. Feels like a dollar store 'Final Destination' rip-off. But worse.
