A photograph of a human made waterfall as part of water way diversion connected to a local paper mill site in Chartham near Canterbury. Visible are two ‘steps’ of a diverted course of the river Stour. Taken face on, on a bright Spring 2025 day with the sun pouring into the space. The image is bordered by ivy covered fauna. To the background the ‘step’ has a bridge like structure to it traversing the water. The closer ‘step’ bridged seemingly by a pipe of sorts. I can speak a little French and I enjoy using language beyond my mother tongue for the pleasure of it. Sort of.
