🚨BREAKING🚨 #CCPUCalifornia has reached a tentative agreement w/the State of California that protects benefits, wins stabilization pay, & ongoing cost-of-living adjustments, helping keep child care doors open by starting to stem the loss of skilled providers created by low pay.
🚨 #CCPUCalifornia is pressing charges against the State of California. The state has:
➡️ engaged in bad-faith bargaining
➡️ illegally withheld state funds
➡️ taken unilateral action without union approval
The state’s actions are unacceptable and unlawful!
When we show up, we win! In our last contract, #CCPUCalifornia won a life-saving victory: health care benefits. "For the first time, I could cover my out‑of‑pocket medical costs and focus on healing instead of juggling bills," says union sister Pamela Rocha.
