Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.15%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 19.70% or 1,300.00 points to trade at 7,900.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) added 4.72% or 460.00 points to end at 10,200.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) was up 1.97% or 280.00 points to 14,480.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p), which fell 1.14% or 280.00 points to trade at 24,200.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) declined 0.54% or 100.00 points to end at 18,280.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) was down 0.52% or 240.00 points to 46,360.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) rose to all time highs; rising 4.72% or 460.00 to 10,200.00.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.28% or 8.60 to $386.10 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.32% or 103.00 to hit $7,710.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 29.70 to trade at $3,545.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.02% to 4,015.10, while BRL/COP fell 0.02% to 738.30.
