[3/8] Only 2 weeks before, in #NEWARS, Gillett gave a penalty (correctly, by the way) but Darren England at VAR insisted and forced him to overturn the decision, despite not being convinced (see the released audio).
This episode must have stuck with him, and in #CRYBOU he wasn't going to repeat it

[2/8] On Oct 18, in #CRYBOU, Gillett cautions Senesi for a foul on Mateta. Two other players are nearby and the ball is drifting right, so he doesn't believe it's a red card.
Alex Chilowicz at VAR calls him to the screen and argues otherwise, but Gillett stands by his decision.

An interesting episode this weekend was the first rejected overturn of the season in #CRYBOU.
Gillett gave a yellow card, but VAR recommended a check on the VAR monitor for a potential red card for Denial Of Goal Scoring Opportunity (DOGSO).
Gillett stood by his decision.
