Powerful reminder of the devastation and terror.
#CalFire learned so much from that fire. By the time the #CZU fire hit two years later, they evacuated everyone out of harms way in an early, organized, sequential way to keep roads from getting clogged. The #Frontline episode is worth watching.

5 yr anniversary of the CZU Lightning Complex Fire. I caught this shot driving out to Big Basin SP earlier this week to commemorate the fire recovery. This time, it was (lifting) fog, not smoke.
