Completed walking the #CaldonCanal with John today. Started on the #LeekBranch to #HazelhurstJunction then the main line to Cheddleton & the Churnet Valley heritage railway. Lots of rural views on the way. Bought much needed ice cream from a canal boat too!
Splendid Bank Holiday Monday walk on the #CaldonCanal with John from #FroghallBasin to Cheddleton. Beautiful rural views, a tunnel & a river section, lots of industrial heritage, more mile posts & the Churnet Valley heritage railway accompanying us.
Had a fabulous linear walk on the #CaldonCanal with John from #HazelhurstJunction to #EtruriaJunction. From rural countryside through the suburbs to the city centre. Lots of historic canal infrastructure & we found all the mile markers on the way too.
