Clouds shroud some of the stars as they reach for the middle of the painting where the milky way seperates them like a river. Origami magpies bridge the river, allowing them to meet. Origami magpies are really hard to draw, but I wanted to do that instead of the cranes of their regular symbolism to make it work with holiday symbols.
