Congratulations to the Calgary Zoo -- female Malayan tapir born on Aug 28th and announced this week. First baby for Sempurna and Tanuck. She already weighs more than 10 kilos!

The #Calgaryzoo was pretty fun today, and well worth spending the day there. Haven't used my Tamron 500mm F8 lens for much, but I got a lot of pictures with it today and I don't hate the result of most of them. Bokeh is bad at best, but freehanding all of these was so much fun. More pictures below.

I met a very sassy dinosaur at the #CalgaryZoo today. Seemed to enjoy their picture being taken, even if I didn't ask first.
