A painterly scene of a smooth sandy beach, lapped by gentle waves from a light blue- green sea which meets a cloudy blue-grey sky. A dreich day as Scots call low cloud and drizzle. The darker blue smudges in the distance are part of Skye and the Small Isles. The sailing ship was at anchor, but not here! Taken from another recent shot at Criccieth Bay off the Welsh coast. I believe it was there for a film set. I felt the image needed more interest.
Overwhelmed by all the love for my North Devon image. 🙏 Feeling very battered by Storm Éowyn in Argyll today. Need a calm and soothing image taken last year walking on #Camusdarach beach on the west #coast of #Scotland. Hand held 1.5sec exposure.
