Revelstoke, B.C. is actually renamed after Cecil's father, Edward Baring, the 1st Baron Revelstoke! He's credited with securing the funds needed to complete the #CanadianPacificRailway. That put Revelstoke the town on the map, originally called Farwell.

Cecil would become the 3rd Baron Revelstoke.
