The Blonde Pirate Idol is impressive for its size: It has joints at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, torso, hips, knees, and ankles! All this at 80mm high!

Blonde Pirate Idol strikes a pose! 😀

The BIG gashapon was from the Bandai Link Travelers machine!

This one was especially nerve-wracking because you could end up with one of two tiny poseable figures, or you could end up with set of accessories for one or the other of them.

I got this cool miniature glass bottle of Coca-Cola! You can tell how tiny it is by how big the chain looks! 😁

With one I had absolutely rotten luck! This character, named Stinky, is a repeat antagonist in the Moomin anime. He's not a "love to hate' antagonist; he's just an annoying character who made those episodes unpleasant to watch!

Another of the gashapon machines I tried had Moomin character thingies in it.

I got this character I've never seen before called Komainu, and a heart...thing. Oh, well! It is pretty cute!

The guide that came all folded up in the capsule, showing all the different figurines! I just had kinda bad luck. 😅

One of the gashapon machines I tried had little figurines of "Little Fox With Two Tails Tenko Daisuki" characters. I know them from little animations they post on IG.

This is a photo of me standing in the gashapon section of the Japanese grocery store in the Uwajimaya marketplace in Seattle! In the photo you can see parts of about 28 stacks, and the machines are stacked 3 units high, so that's 84 machines, and that's nowhere near all of them!

I showed a lot of restraint and only got four capsules (which was a little easier because the tokens are not cheap!) I got a bigger one that's about twice as big as the other (normal?) sized ones.

From another area of the store, I got this Kamen Rider Zeztz candy toy: Converge Kamen Rider 179!

During my trip to Seattle the weekend of March 8, my brother and I went to the Japanese grocery store in their Uwajimaya marketplace. I got a big reusable shopping bag full of snack breads, but they also had something new!
