The series was good. The stories were related but varied enough that I wasn't bored, and I may have added a new book boyfriend or two to my collection. ๐โค๏ธโ๐ฅ It was great seeing bits and pieces of the Kingston / Dare families along the way. No prior reading was required, but there were a few minor spoilers. The cast of narrators are, in no particular order, Alex Knox, Isabelle Turner, Lee Samuels, Connor Crais, Angelina Rocca, John Lane, and Samantha Cook. I've enjoyed most of these narrators before but liked getting to listen to some new ones, too. One thing I really loved was that each book had a different set of voices, which made it easy to binge the entire series. Angelina was in two of the books but with different male counterparts, so it still felt different. Story: 4-4.5 stars Narration: 4-4.5 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x

I knew Aurora's story was going to be good. I could just feel it, and this did not disappoint in any way. This is, hands down, the best book in the series. -- Book quote 'Nick had been the last one to devour her, and now she knewโnothing about the way theyโd reacted to each other had been a fluke.' -- Aurora Kingston I โค๏ธLOVEโค๏ธ how Nick took the revelation that he was a papa. And as scary as change was, how Aurora responded was equally wonderful. Adding to all of this are the reactions from both of their families. I feel like I'm gushing too much, yet not enough. Just make sure to have tissues ready. I read along with the audio book. The narrators, Samantha Cook and Jason Clarke, are fantastic. I love the change-up to the narrators. (Book review) >Doomed to Repeat the Past?< Xander Kingston and Alexandra (Sasha) Keaton definitely had a rocky past. Despite being in a relationship previously, including having lived together, it becomes obvious that they didn't really know each other then. It's not exactly uncommon to be focused more on self than each other at that age and stage of life. Still.... I did like this. I liked how their chemistry and some danger kind of forced them to revisit things, putting some to bed (literally and figuratively) with tentative resolutions and others ignored for their future selves to deal with. OK, I wasn't as fond of the latter, but that drama llama gets hers. I do like how their friends and family are there in good times and bad. Those, as well as the hot and heavy fun times, are the elements that keep me coming back to Carly's books. I borrowed the audio book. The narrators, Connor Crais and Mackenzie Cartwright, continue to deliver good, easy to listen to performances. Story: 3.5 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H = late 20s?; h = 24
