#Vedic involves reliance on the #Vedas & #BrahmanicalRituals, w/a concept of #Brahman = #creator, whereas #Theravada rejects #CasteClass #SlaverySystem, focuses on the #historical #Buddha's #teachings preserved in the #PaliCanon, emphasizes #IndividualEthicalAction #meditation to #achieve #nirvana.
I never know #Lord #SiddharthaGautama, the #Historical #buddha, said that. I just know he was #against the #WorshipOfMenOnEarthAsGods, #AbsoluteMonarchy.
