Emerging technologies have the potential to disrupt the channels necessary to de-escalate a nuclear conflict. On 11/15, IST’s #CATALINK team held a workshop with leading risk reduction experts to gain their insights on using mesh networks to enhance the resilience & security of crisis comms.

This year, IST Technology Policy Analyst Christian Steins researched the potential technical vulnerabilities of crisis communications networks & convened 20 experts to discuss the #CATALINK project’s essential operation requirements.
