Galeandra chapadensis 開花𓂃 𓈒𓏸𑁍
昨年咲いたバルブから子株が三つ、バックバルブ的な方からもひとつ子株が吹いてきました。
まさか今季咲くとは思わず。倍どころか3倍の開花とはねー、嬉しい驚き。トップバッターで咲いてたタケノコはもう次の花芽が上がってきてる。このまま連続で咲いてくれたらかなりの期間楽しめそうだわ。
チビ鉢だから場所問題だいじぶーとタカをくくっておったが来期は株分けしないとアカンかもなぁ🤔

The Demagorgon is back: Catasetum saccatum.
My most impressive orchid by far. And this time with 16!!! flowers. Even so, it is more impressive than it has ever been: height 60cm, leaves up to 70cm, flower spike 50cm, single flower 9x10cm.
What a giant.

Flowers from what appears to be Catasetum pileatum, as well as the seed pod of Encyclia tampensis f. alba, which has finally matured after 2 months.
