He is adorned with a selection of reinforced leather armour mostly on his lower half, and his upper half is mostly bare except for a cloak over one shoulder and blue violet cloth attached to his horns.

Short session last night. Accidentally mixed up a blue violet instead of a red leaning purple, but this shade is rapidly growing on me, doubly so because it's helped solidify what I'll be using for inspiration on the maces - Sodalite.

Rear view of said stoic minotaur. Leather is more or less done, leg and hand armour is done, and now he's got a nice rusty reddish orange tone to his skin!

First session with oils done. Taurus' skin colour is blocked in, and I did some experimenting on his shoulder that wound up going too yellow, but that's okay! I'm really, REALLY liking how Gamblin Rust Red + Napthol Scarlet is looking on Taurus!

99% chance these will be the last photos of Taurus with magenta skin. I'm calling the acrylics done, at least for now, since I can't figure out how I want to do his eyes.

Really, really, REALLY looking forward to breaking out the oil paints!

Today's photos are with the painting lights off, as my phone was really over-exposing things with them on. Started blocking in the leather with ProAcryl Mahogany, with the plan of using a few colours of layering to make it look like old, but well cared for leather.

Decided to go a little further with Taurus' underpainting. Not sure if I'll do any underpainting with acrylics on the leather, armour, and weapons, as I think for those I'd rather use pre-staining techniques instead.
