WCK-supported kitchens in the Bekaa Valley and South Lebanon have been serving 12,500 meals a day since October 2023 - now over 12 million total.

The WCK-supported community kitchen in Zahle is a lifeline for displaced families in Bekaa, serving over 1,500 meals daily. The kitchen is run entirely by volunteers directly affected by ongoing conflict who have found strength in cooking comforting meals for their own communities. #ChefsForLebanon

Escalating attacks in Lebanon are forcing more families to flee their homes & the need for food increases daily. WCK partnered with SBT to set up a community kitchen in Ansar in just 24 hours. Chefs here prepare 12,000 meals daily using the same comforting recipes they cook at home. #ChefsForLebanon

Nariman had to close her catering business when the war began, but she was able to reopen with support from WCK. Now, she & her team prepare 3,000 meals daily for their communities. They serve popular local dishes like Siyadiye, traditional Lebanese fish & rice. #ChefsForLebanon

In Lebanon, #Ramadan meal boxes are reaching families impacted by conflict with comforting traditional meals like taouk—a flavorful chicken dish—for families to share. WCK is partnering with displaced families to cook from a new kitchen in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh district. In collaboration with local authorities, we equipped and renovated this space so people affected by the conflict can prepare 2,000 meals daily for their community. #ChefsForLebanon

WCK teams in Lebanon spread some joy this New Year’s Eve with thousands of panettone, cakes, éclairs, and sable cookies. Chef Aline and her team also prepared a festive menu of lamb or turkey with rice to make the celebration as special as possible in these difficult times. #ChefsForLebanon

Chef Corps member Aline has been the heart and muscle behind #ChefsForLebanon. She ensures up to 50,000 meals a day reach communities impacted by violence along Lebanon’s southern border with Israel. The hearty, familiar meals she and her teams prepare provide hope in addition to nourishment.
