Do you ever bike along Steele to/from the #CherryCreekTrail?

The signs are there, right?
I know we've all nearly been killed by drivers turning, but it's a #BikeDEN route.

Have you biked it?

Plans for the Clayton St Neighborhood Bikeway at 1st Ave show northbound riders on the West side of Clayton having to turn right at 1st across traffic & then turn left again to join the flow of traffic.

Alternatively, route Northbound riders on Clayton to the East side of the roadway moving with the flow of traffic. Drivers don't look for riders coming from their right when exiting parking lots.

Instead, route them along the East side of the roadway from the #CherryCreekTrail which is omitted from the plans.
The 3rd image is better than what is planned. 4th is my suggestion.

Ramp access to/from the #BikeDEN #CherryCreekTrail needs to be improved at these locations, especially making the shared-use sidewalk wider along Speer Blvd.

New @Strava segment just dropped in Denver. It's the #SharrowsAreBullshit route along E12thAve from Clayton to Speer accessing the #CherryCreekTrail.

Um, I think we have a problem here.

These are all underpasses along the #CherryCreekTrail.
These all have a paved shoulder wider than the 8-ft trail, but W14THAVE does not. Why, @DenverDOTI & @denverparksrec?

The Colfax underpass is paved all the way to the wall.

How in the hell do I reply to this email regarding my 311 complaint about the #bikeDEN #CherryCreekTrail under the new 14thSt Bridge.

Find a single other location that is only 8ft wide with rocks on BOTH sides.

Feels super dangerous to me.

The #GarfieldStNBW is nearly complete! I just rode it from the #CherryCreekTrail to #CityPark.

Does anyone from #bikeDEN access the #CherryCreekTrail using 11th, 12th, 13th, or 14th Ave?

IMO, @DenverDOTI &/or @denverparksrec need to widen that shared use sidewalk to something like 8ft.

@DenverCPD what is the best way to make that happen?

@SteveStaeger were you aware of Structural Issues with the new W14thAve bridge over the #CherryCreekTrail?

Two instances of aggressive driving, just within a few blocks of each other and on 12th, which is the #bikeDEN D10 route.

This is why more people don't bike in Denver. Yeah, the #CherryCreekTrail, #SouthPlatteRiverTrail & others are nice, but getting there could get you killed.

Really needs to be something flush on each side of the trail under all bridges.

This was my route riding to @DicksSportingCO on Havana in Aurora, CO. I took the #CherryCreekTrail to the #bikeDEN D18 that is part of @CityofDenver infrastructure maintained by @DenverDOTI until it turns to @cityofaurora past Ulster.

0.8 miles more was all we needed.
Instead of maintaining any form of bike infrastructure for someone heading north on Quebec to the #CherryCreekTrail, it just ends at the #HighLineCanalTrail.

It took less than a block of biking on this to get off the road and onto the sidewalk.

The @denverparksrec #CherryCreekTrail aka #CCT along 1st, just north of the Cherry Creek County Club.
