The entrance from University is 3 lanes.
Why not do the same for Clayton from 1st?
Could then have protected bike lanes or cycle tracks on each side of #ClaytonStNBW so drivers are looking at the direction they're coming from.

Denver Moves: Cherry Creek plan illustrates a 2-way bike lane along 8th Ave on an aerial map from the alleyway to Clayton St & relocating the traffic signal.

The same aerial view has been altered instead illustrating an off-street shared-use paved path within Congress Park running parallel to 8th Ave. This will allow riders to connect from Clayton into Congress Park to either the alleyway or to the new playground & pool area.

The #ClaytonStNBW connects to Congress Park at 8th, but no into the park itself. Why not?

Either, connect through the #DenverWater reservoir around the Congress Park Soccer Fields to Elizabeth or at the end of the alleyway back to Clayton.
Plan is a 2-way bike lane along 8th.

Plans for the Clayton St Neighborhood Bikeway at 1st Ave show northbound riders on the West side of Clayton having to turn right at 1st across traffic & then turn left again to join the flow of traffic.

Alternatively, route Northbound riders on Clayton to the East side of the roadway moving with the flow of traffic. Drivers don't look for riders coming from their right when exiting parking lots.

The #ClaytonStNBW plans for crossing 1st Ave at Clayton have Northbound riders making 2 turns.
Instead, route them along the East side of the roadway from the #CherryCreekTrail which is omitted from the plans.
The 3rd image is better than what is planned. 4th is my suggestion.
