The median on 17th at Garfield is covered with snow & ice despite being a connection for the #BikeDEN #GarfieldStNBW & #ADA compliant entrance into @denverparksrec #CityPark installed by @DenverDOTI.

Who is responsible for clearing this, @CityofDenver?

@DenverDOTI has been working with @CityofDenver #Denverites to identify & install designated #bikeDEN routes.
Two recent projects are the #CityParkEsplanadePBL & the #GarfieldStNBW, and an ACTIVE project is the #E21stAveNBW.

It was obstructed at #CityPark with no detour provided as is required.

This sign for the #GarfieldStNBW doesn't make any sense here...

Riders get confused in this area without proper wayfinding prior to exiting the shared roadway & there are lots of conflicts with pedestrians coming down the hill.

Maybe move it & shift bikes to the South side?

Sent an email to @DenverDOTI including @DavidPulsipher, & @DenverPerfect10 to see if this is accurate...

Another big ticket item was improving the intersection at Alameda by adding signals with #BikeDEN thru access.
Here is how it was prior to the construction of the #GarfieldStNBW.

Continuing South on the #BikeDEN #GarfieldStNBW a diverter was installed at Bayaud.
It took some time to install & was super expensive, which is why we need temporary installations in most locations to get them installed quickly.

Crossing 1st in Cherry Creek used to be a bit of a pain.
I really like the improvements to this intersection on the #GarfieldStNBW at 1st. Instead of plastic flex posts, this intersection got permanent curb-extensions with a new signal that senses bikes.
*Note this isn't the D14

There is room for improvement with the signal on the #GarfieldStNBW at E6thAve. IMO, it should "see" me coming & remain green a few moments longer.
This will allow bikes to keep their momentum instead of having to stop.

This is the #BikeDEN #GarfieldStNBW SB approaching 7th.
The way-finding sign is still inaccurate. Plus, I want to see the stop signs swapped or changed to a 4-way so that it is easier to keep momentum going up a hill. Not to mention the obstructed view in the median.
