The College Valley is an area within the Northumberland National Park. The valley is spectacularly beautiful and affords a serenely satisfying ascent of the Cheviot – 815 metres (2674 ft) – the highest peak in the area.

Was there yesterday. Very complicated on the ground. Some sources suggest that there was some activity by the Romans who had a camp below. Possibly military training. #HillfortsWednesday #CheviotHills
