Today in the #ChicagoWarZone , I went to my office - in the Loop!! I know, risks had to be taken. And... during the day, I left my building to pick up a coffee, and a pair of shoes that had been repaired. Yes, 2 stops. My heart rate still won't go down from the brazen risks I took.

I did actually did do battle once this weekend. I slayed a nasty vine that was strangling my Rose of Sharon in our front garden.

Sunday we rode our bikes to Foster Beach. Ran into some more friends who marveled at the 84-degree sunny weather and the people playing beach volleyball in October. Boats sailed by.
