Family, romance, emotionally intelligent characters, good music... It's still very much a story about classed Africans (which was my initial hesitation) but filmmakers showed some self-awareness on this. Overall, it was really well done. #ChristmasInLagos

I'm always a little too ready to write off anything that looks like #DettyDecember, fictional or real but I saved #ChristmasInLagos to my viewing list b/c I thought my sister would like it. We both ended up enjoying it. Probably my favorite watch of the season.
