If you are a young scholar interested in #civmil I strongly encourage you to broaden the aperture. There are vast untapped opportunities to investigate civil-security force relations in the U.S. I’m too old and too lazy to do it myself.
If this happens and its pretty bipartisan, you have a wicked little #civmil problem. Which civilians have the right to be wrong? What does military when they disagree (and both have war authority?)
