Thursday 26th March 2020, #Day7. In my notebook I wrote 16 interesting things. 3 were:
my daughter & I made chocolate cake (I don’t work on Thursdays!),
me & the children caught up with song a day (my mum’s lockdown initiative!)

Part of that is about morale - which is why actions like #clapforourcarers are so important: keeping up spirits of all of us, and encouraging the staff who will get us through this
Went for my permitted once a day walk and ended up in Worsley, haven't been about there for a while but definitely a few new sights #clapforNHS #clapforourcarers

I was sceptical about it in advance, but standing in our front yard hearing the applause echoing off the nearby #Ilkley terraces and feeling the community connection was strangely emotional.

Lovely to see just about all of our street turn out to clap, and to hear the noise from other streets nearby.
Both my parents worked for the NHS. Such an incredible organisation and we should treasure it and those who work for it.
