Yaki onigiri, or deep fried rice balls. These were filled with roe and deep fried to perfection on both sides. They are topped with sliced green onion.
A bowl of one large scoop of yuzu sherbert to share. Yuzu is a citrus fruit that is very popular in Asian cuisines. It is tart but very fragrant. It looks like a mandarin orange, except yellow with a rough exterior.
For dinner, we had a deluxe meshi, which was a #claypot with #seafood. My favorite dish, however, was the yaki #onigiri. So buttery and deep fried to perfection!!
I am a fiend for #yuzu and we had been getting yuzu drinks at all the restaurants. This one had a very tasty #sherbert though!! 🍲🍙🍊🍧
