A curious thought on today's #CleanAirStrategy: despite being strengthened since consultation, I'm less impressed with it now. Why? Because so much of it remains bafflingly vague. It's OK in a draft & makes sense during policy development - just not in a final paper. #AirQuality
The #CleanAirStrategy was repeatedly promised to be published by the end of 2018. It will be interesting to see what has changed from the (actually, to be fair, reasonably good) draft issued in May....

For the first time, after 13 years in the environmental policy sphere, I am genuinely impressed with government #AirQuality policy. That said, today's #CleanAirStrategy is a 100-page document - must be a few surprises lurking here and there. Story to follow at lunchtime.
I have received no less than eight responses to tomorrow's #CleanAirStrategy - none of the authors of which have actually seen it. This does strike me as somewhat absurd.
