Clovelly Harbour, North Devon. #seaside #NorthDevon #Clovelly #boats #seawall #harbour #photography
Beautiful Clovelly on the north Devon coast. It's a privately owned village that charges visitors for entry, but it's well worth the visit.

The camera captures a view from the top of the cliff in the coastal village of Clovelly, overlooking the historic harbour of the old fishing village. The quay forms a quarter-circle around the small harbour basin, which is only half-filled with blue-green water. Some boats float, while others are resting on the dry ground. The quay is bustling with activity, as tourists in summer attire populate the area. People sit outside the pub at tables, enjoying food and drinks. The pub, with its distinctive white wall, occupies the left part of the quay and is a large building that also serves as a hotel.
Turning away from the currently very wet autumn weather here, I embrace #ThrowbackThursday to reminisce about a summer day in #England: #Clovelly #Harbour, 2015.

Clovelly Cottages, the pretty little seaside village in North Devon. Being on steep cobbled streets and privately owned, there is no modern vehicular access to the village. #Clovelly #NorthDevon #cottages #houses #architecture #Photography

Clovelly in North Devon. If you've never been, to see it at it's best go early or preferably late and out of season. Better still book to stay in the Red Lion. #Holidays #summer #NorthDevon #Clovelly #seaside #cottage #village #Photography

Been back to back work weekendsβclosing off one term & starting anotherβbut I did manage to squeeze in an hour at the beach. This is our beloved #Clovelly βa little cove tucked between Coogee & Bronte. We come here for birthdays, Christmas picnicsβany old reason & leave feeling 100,000 times better!
