A mixture of yellow monkey flowers and pink seablush. It covered the little islet we could climb to at low tide.

We snuck behind the danger sign and followed this beautiful steep path down to the water. It was 23 years since I was last here and no sign then.

We had a great view of the lighthouse from the trail. Beautiful rugged coastline

We even found some choclate lilies.

When my friend invited me to get out for an overnight in my tent, coastal hiking, clear skies and beautiful sunrises I was in! It was a perfect distraction for the end of this election period. Time to get out, vote and make Canada Strong!
