I'm looking at City Council's #CommunityBenefitsAgreement with the #Sixers, and I'm reminded of the time that I went car shopping with my brother Dennis and wound up paying $259 a month for a Geo Metro.

My extremely used Chevy Cavalier had given me all it could, so I decided to trade it in.

The sticking point appears to be the #CommunityBenefitsAgreement that #MayorCherelleParker negotiated with @sixersnba.bsky.social. The Mayor accepted $50 million. #Council wants $100 million minimum. Details on the negotiations were published in @inquirer.com this morning.
