Sea arch along the coast near Allihies. Looking back over the inlet towards Knockgour hidden beneath a blanket of cloud. On the ridge line, where it slopes down, to the upper right, the remnants of the engine house of the mountain mine is just visible below the clouds.

Coastal gullies and sea arches stretch into the Atlantic, my friend M is partially visible above the nearest ridge, behind her the peaks of Eagle Hills and Gortaghig stretch out east to west.

My friend M, almost hidden amongst the leading lines of the cut and eroded rock stretching and rising up from the sea. Behind is the ridge climb left to right.

We took off on a miserable looking Monday, for a spin along the Beara Peninsula.

We trusted the lashing rain would stop, it did, & we were left with muggy winds & grey skies, but dry for the rest of the day.
