New book by @dturner300.bsky.social just arrived. I have only read part of the introduction and I'm sitting here saying "oh my god" and "yes absolutely". I think I'm going to learn a lot from reading this book, and most of that I have a sense will be about myself.

This wasn't the easiest article to get through but it was well worth the time and effort to read. Attachment theory is such a given in western psychology, another model that holds white western norms as the gold standard and labels everything else as harmful.
