The mostly brown, natural background, as well as just a few green sprigs of grass in the foreground are blurred out of focus, while the dragonfly in between is vibrant and in focus, peaking nicely from between 2 of the grass sprigs. The wings at its sides are clear enough to see their natural lacy pattern.
