Very true but it's a bit of an inverted pyramid problem. Those prime age workers are going to be propping up silver surfers (in countries with the remnants of a welfare state #CradleToGrave).
That’s the industry’s fault. If they were held to #CradleToGrave standards, they’d have to provide the means to collect and process their #EWaste, without leaving it to some poor people in a far-removed country, who live off the spoils of a dump retrieving valuable minerals from such #EWaste.
We need #CradleToGrave legislation that forces chemical and mineral companies to be responsible to the Earth with every step of their manufacturing/mining processes. You build it, you’re responsible for it. You break the ground, you put it back how you found it. Properly dispose of your waste.
And no plans on raising minimum wage
