A cotton crochet tea towel ecru with blue stripes on a blocking pad

All the fancy flowers that I crochet don’t take as long as a spider stitch tea towel. The cotton yarn is what slows down the process - no slip. This simple little rectangle took many hours. But it’s so pretty and will make a nice housewarming gift for my sister. #crochet 🧶 #craftiverse #fiberarts

I think the pattern is busy enough that the combined scrap sleeve doesn't even look that bad. It will be drawn with an elastic too, so I'm really hoping no one will be able to tell lol

#diy #craftiverse Latest ones☺️ lavender one is probably my favorite look so far, also really liked the triple stitch I used to topstitch. Zip doesn't work well though because of the little flaps of the fabric on the inside blocking the zip 😭 I suppose maybe the lining wasn't pressed well enough?

I made some cute little bunnies for Ostara (Easter). Definitely made a few for nieces and nephews. 🧶🧶

All my recent babies together💖 The yellow one was first and I think it really shows 😂 It's funny how much I learned in this short time, I feel like each pouch taught me something new. I wasn't really expecting it, seeing how simple this seems.

Another pouch done bringing me to a grand total of 4 for now. Last time I felt like I sewed too far into the fabric, then ended up cutting off and wasting too much of it. Sooo this time I did the opposite and sewed too close to the edge 😂

Attempts at another pouch 😂
On the previous one (yellow) the stitches were not straight so I'm trying to do better this time, but I've ripped the seams so many times that the lace is starting to undo💔
Besides that though, the stitches seem weirdly wobbly this time, not sure why👀

Tried this with felt before, but this time the wadding is much thicker... Main issue though was probably how hard it is to be sure that the needle is going into the line I've drawn on the fabric and not right next to it 😂

Yes, cutting mats & rotary cutter & rulers are worth the money. Have you found #Quiltsky or #Craftiverse yet? There are probably other groups you might also enjoy, but those can get you started.

Today we had a garden visit from a hare. Yesterday, a handsome young fox boldly came right up to my window, looking very healthy indeed in its nice red coat. I'm not sure we'll be seeing the hare here at the house again soon.
