Golden orange Candy Caps on the left, greyish black Trumpets on the right. They share the same host tree, so it's not unheard of, but still amazing to see them next to each other.

#Lactarius rubidus (Candy Cap), and #Craterellus calicornucopioides (CA Black Trumpet) growing right next to each other. This is a dinner kit if I ever saw one, may as well be a steak and a beer wrapped in cellophane.
