The so-called "Wadpost", a small but tall structure designed to provide shelter, on the Engelsmanplaat sandbank in the Wadden Sea in the province of Frisia (Friesland) in The Netherlands. The sandbank almost completely disappears under water when the tide is in (ie high tide). It's close to sunset and golden sunbeams are bursting through the clouds to the left of the Wadpost. It's low tide, but the sandbank is still wet and the sunlight is reflected everywhere on the sand. The clouds are dark and not long after this photograph was made, it started raining.
#Gratitude for the ability to be outdoors with friends, witnessing gorgeous scenes like this #sunset on the #Engelsmanplaat sandbank in the #Waddensea.
