Cette mission, conduite pour le compte du Space Systems Command de l'US Space Force dans le cadre du contrat OSP-4, place en orbite basse jusqu'à 200 kg de charges utiles technologiques et scientifiques, dont la charge principale STPSat-7 et un ensemble de CubeSats universitaires.
