There are tall buildings and roadside trees. The puppet is on a wheeled float handled by a bunch of teen age school pupils. Cambodia is as safe, comfortable and kind as ever. Angkor and Siem Reap warmly welcomes visitors.
One of the great yearly events in Siem Reap in February is the Great Puppet Parade.
The puppets are made by local school children and teenagers. It is organised by local NGOs.
The sunset parade gathers close to 20 000 spectators.
