Today, the EU Council of Ministers held a first formal & positive exchange on the #CultureCompass, presented by Cssr Glenn Micallef.

Beforehand, Europa Nostra & @eurheritagehub.bsky.social urged Ministers in a letter to back the Joint Political Declaration on the Compass.

🎭 City leaders back the new #CultureCompass for Europe - announced by the @ec.europa.eu.

Cities are ready to work with the EU to turn its ambitions into local reality.

🇪🇺 But to achieve this vision, the Compass must be backed by strong EU programmes & funding.
