The text says: Dragons Age Kiss Week Day 7 Prompt - Celebration Rook, Lucanis, and Taash looked up at the sky as the breach in the Veil closed behind Solas and the Inquisitor. It almost didn’t seem real. They’d worked so hard to get to this point, but she couldn’t believe they were really here now. Could this be it? Had they really done it? They stared ahead for what felt like an eternity until they heard a noise coming from the hardened shell of the blight that had consumed the throne, and Bellara with it. They turned to look, with weapons ready in case some errant darkspawn had somehow managed to survive being dragged back beyond the Veil with its dead master and his archdemon. There was that noise again - a crunch as bits of the dried blight tendril began falling away and landing on the ground. More and more pieces tumbled to the ground until Rook saw something that made her gasp. Was that a hand? Suddenly, the blight tendril broke apart, and their Veil Jumper friend fell to the floor, gasping as she escaped the last remnants of the cruel and vengeful gods’ blight.

A snippet from a WIP for Dragon Age Kiss Week. The text says: Dragon Age Kiss Week Day 6 Prompt - Reunion Rook got back into a routine of working, and she was really enjoying it. More so if Lucanis had to work, as it distracted her from his absence. He’d been gone a week on this latest contract, and she was missing him terribly. She threw herself into her work to try to avoid thinking about how much she missed him, but it wasn’t working. She wished she was with him, fighting alongside him. She felt she fought better when he was around, as if he was her reason to survive. She also really worried about him when he was away. When she thought about it rationally, she knew she was being silly. He’s so much more experienced than she is, and his skills are second-to-none. But it was her heart that was speaking, and it was telling her that she needed to be with him. To protect him. To make sure no-one ever came close to hurting him. As she was lost in these thoughts, she heard the door open and in he walked. His eyes were bright, and his smile was more radiant than the sun. He was safe, and she could breathe again. She went to him and kissed him tenderly.

A short fic about Lucanis Dellamorte and Amelia de Riva for DA Kiss Week. The text says: Dragon Age Kiss Week Day 5 Prompt - Battlefield Rook, Lucanis, and Davrin had received a request from Evka and Antoine to come to the Hossberg Wetlands to aid them. They needed some assistance with a resurgence of darkspawn near Lavendel. It was nowhere near the size of the darkspawn horde that had attacked the village last time, but big enough that they didn’t want to take any chances. They’d asked Davrin to accompany Wardens Jaynie and Rhodri to the flooded farmlands, whilst Rook and Lucanis went down to the battlefield that the horde hit previously. With the exception of a handful of darkspawn, Rook and Lucanis found the area to be very quiet. As they continued their search, Rook noticed that Lucanis was walking a lot closer to her than usual, and he seemed more on alert. His hand never leaving his weapon as they walked. After a while, she stopped and turned to face him. “Are you okay, Lucanis?” She asked. “Yes, I’m fine, Rook,” he replied. “You don’t seem fine. What’s wrong?” “Nothing. I’m just keeping an eye out for darkspawn.” She sighed. She could tell there was something wrong and wished he would talk to her. “Fine, go look for darkspawn then,” she said as she walked off. To her surprise, he hurried after her and took up his position by her side again.

The text says: Dragon Age Kiss Week Day 4 Prompt - Famous Landmark Rook and Lucanis headed to Treviso to get an intelligence brief from Teia and Viago, but when they got to the Diamond, they decided they weren’t quite ready to deal with work. It was such a nice evening outside, and being back in their beloved Treviso always made them feel better, so they snuck out of the casino and went for a walk. They ambled along the streets of the city and through the markets, holding hands and enjoying this time alone together. They wondered what it would be like when all this was over and they could return home. They looked forward to the day they didn’t have to hide their relationship. Lucanis had talked to Rook about telling Viago and Teia, but she’d been strangely hesitant. She wouldn’t tell him why, but she reassured him that it wasn’t because she was embarrassed or ashamed of their relationship. They walked along the streets until they came to one of the city’s beautiful bridges over the river. They stopped to look at the water and the surrounding buildings which were lit up and showing the glorious Antivan architecture. He stood behind her as they gazed at the city they loved so much. His arms wrapped around her waist, holding her tight. She sighed in contentment as she felt his loving arms around her. She never had to worry when he was with her because he made her feel so safe and loved. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. In this moment, she was happy. “Thanks for bringing me here, Lucanis,” she said.

As had happened many times recently, the meeting had been fraught, and wound up going back to what happened to Minrathous. Neve’s pain was raw, and Rook couldn’t blame her for being upset about what had happened to her home, but it was taking its toll on her. Once the meeting had ended, and everyone had dispersed, Rook stood to go to her room, but stopped at the bottom of the ramp. She closed her eyes and sighed. She needed to get out of there, so she turned around and walked down to the eluvian room.
