Kanner: many humanities RQs require pretty elementary DH skills, not worth bothering computer scientists with, but which benefit the humanist scholar greatly, so it's worth learning some DIY DH skills.

I have to say Brügger's points about what the archived web _is_ are super interesting and important. Stuff like, "don't expect to find, in a web archive, webpages. What you find are fragments – HTML files and other files".

Uncharitable of me I know, but when I hear a #DH talk about a nifty tool or method, I can't help thinking, "yeah alright, so how can we tell if your method a) actually captures all of the phenomenon I'm interested in (ie is reliable), and b) works on my material?"
