On a beige canvas bag featuring a print of a black cat‘s face 5 wooden objects are laid out: to the left of the cat‘s face 3 full bulgarian spindles with either purple or salmon colored singles are placed, and to the right the salmon colored fibers are bound to a ring distaff and partly spun onto a more vintage bulgarian spindle. It looks like the cat is marvelling at the objects.

Distaff spinning. Combed wool from my Dorset X Tunis ewe, Lester. The distaff and spindle are part of the trove we recently aquired. It's Balkan I think. The band securing the combed wool is from Bulgaria.
