Coton Morris, a mixed Cotswold Morris side dance Lads a'Bunchum in the style of Adderbury outside the Craven Arms in Appletreewick. Coton Morris wear white trousers, white shirts, black waistcoats and black bells that hang from straps just under their knees. There are men and women dancing. They are holding long hazel sticks, about 900 mm long and 25 mm diameter. Furthest from the camera is the musician, who is playing a tabor and pipe, which is a drum suspended over his left elbow and a pipe played with his left arm.

The pub is built of sandstone and is covered in a climbing plant, possibly a Virginia creeper. There is a pub sign with a shield painted on it. There is also a Ukrainian flag flying from the wall of the pub.

What I haven't mentioned is the Leeds Morris Fool, who is stood behind one line of the Coton set. He is wearing a top hat, a tailcoat covered in badges and maroon, green and white braid, black breeches and one green sock and one maroon sock. His beard is plaited into a silver ring. He is nonchalantly swinging a bull's bladder on a stick and hitting dancers on the backside in time with the music.

Photograph by Jenny from Jet Set Border Morris, who require a post of their own, because they are also fabulous.
