The picture in the near distance has two spruce Pine trees on the left near the edge of the picture and one thicker and larger, spruce pine tree toward the right of the picture. These trees have no low branches and so none are shown in the picture light is coming from the left side and so the surfaces on the left are better lit and the sides to the right are in deep shadow.The sun shines brightly on young spruce pine trees, growing as a blanket across the remainder of the picture these trees are probably no more than a foot and a half tall and they have wide pine branches. In the distance is a gray rock covered in black flaky fungus. There are some thinner evergreen trees in the distance, and the light seems to indicate that there is a clearing further in front of the viewer.

In the far distance are rolling mountains in a light green and dark blue hue. The sky is white covered entirely with a layer of cloud cover, and the sun shines brightly from the upper right corner. A circle of light surrounds the sun as an effect from the camera and light angle.

In the distance a 10 foot tall no traditional ladder, with thicker wood and taller steps. The ladder reaches over a wall of gray rock in deep shade. Foreground includes a thick tree, covered in deep brown bark and gray and green patches of moss and lichen. Pressed against it is a skinny gray bark tree. To the left side of the picture is another tall tree with branching roots across gray rock. A massive grey rocks and pieces of broken tree fill the space between the camera and the ladder.
