The ant answers the door, but something unusual immediately makes itself known: his gaster, usually a light shade of yellow where the skin shows, is darkened considerably, filled with a murky fluid visible through his exterior that sloshes and glorps with his movements.

He follows your gaze to the loudly gurgling appendage hanging from his rear, and his mandibles part in a reassuring smile. "Oh, that's just—Urrrp, 'scuse me—a visitor from this morning. Don't be afraid; it was all part of their session."

He gestures for you to comes inside. "Come on in, take a load off. And hey, if you're feeling it: my abdomen makes for quite the atmospheric pillow at the moment..."

Imagine being curled up within Darnell's stomach as he goes about his day. If you've told him you're alright with being shown off, you're on full display. Hazy figures pass by the encompassing, yellow-tinted walls as the ant strolls past, their silhouettes quaking as your containment wobbles with every step of your host. Muffled conversations from others drift in, but are hard to discern through a layer of translucent flesh and chub.

Some people may pause and gaze curiously through the yielding but impenetrable barrier separating you from the outside world, but their stares respectfully don't linger for long. Say you're rendered uncomfortable by attention. That's cool too; Darnell can't hope to fully conceal his bulging belly under his shirt, but he can pull it down just enough to hide your face. Hooking it over his topmost midriff sclerite to hold it in place.

But there's still spectacles to see, if you wish. Looking down, you can see the sidewalk scrolling by as your insectoid devourer walks, his legs entering and exiting view one at a time as he uses them to leisurely propel himself forward. Footsteps can faintly be made out, each one producing a muted vibration that shoots upwards to quiver the stomach lining gently. The peaceful rhythm makes it easy to drift off...

I've always described Darnell's voice as being "on the lighter side of masculine". Perhaps a bit androgynous? But definitely with at least somewhat of a masculine lean. He's got an insectoid chitter to his voice, especially when he laughs.
