A few days behind so time to lock in

I am quite devoted to my daily routine of early walks. I have several loops to choose from, each about a mile and a half (~1.6km) long. They provide the different views and vibes of my “urban environment”, from the brownstones and tree-lined streets of Carroll Gardens to the lush greenway of Brooklyn Bridge Park and even the rough and tumble warehouse district with its piers and industry and views of Lady Liberty. Normally this is an everyday thing, but there are some days, like today, where my body tells me that it needs a break. So instead of traipsing around my various neighborhoods, I sit here in the comfortable semi-dark of my “office” and get a jump on the day; well, more of a hop, if I’m honest. With some apropos sounds, here’s some more (US) morning mellow.
